I've been needlecrafting in one way or another since I was a kid - we don't need to say exactly how many years it's been, right? *wink* My first sewing project was to make clothes for Barbie when she first arrived on the scene. Her clothes cost more than mine so I taught myself how to sew. I have made everything from wedding dresses to Halloween costumes and replica period gowns for Civil War re-enactors.

I now find joy in quilting - it's a calming release for me from everyday life. It's also a great project to pick up in-between traveling with my husband, visits from my five children, and playing Grandma to my young grandkids! I love telling stories through fabric, whether it's from a special fabric that holds sentimental value or the occasion for which I'm creating an heirloom.
Let me create a special memory for you from your dad’s ties, your grandmother’s hankies, you baby’s onesies and bibs, or your graduate’s tees. Have a favorite shirt of your deceased loved one? I can make it a pillow for you to hug. Don’t throw them out, let me quilt it
